SHANGHAI, May 13, 2019—Urban Science announced the appointment of Chee-Kiang (CK) Lim as the Managing Director of its China office, effective today.

“China is the world’s largest automotive market, and one of the most complex and challenging in which we operate,” said Tom Longo, Executive Vice President, The Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. “CK’s industry experience in China, paired with his ability to lead complex consulting engagements, will be vital to us helping solve our clients’ business challenges.”

In this role, CK will work closely with foreign and local clients in China to solve their mission critical challenges. He will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the office’s client base and establishing long-term relationships within the industry and market, as well as managing office revenue, profitability and operations. CK will report to David Cain, Regional Managing Director of Asia Pacific, as Urban Science continues to strengthen its position and competitiveness in the marketplace.

CK brings with him over 20 years of strategy consulting and industry experience. Most recently, he was Principal of Gao Feng Advisory Company in Shanghai, focusing on digital disruption in the automotive and energy sectors. CK has previously led strategy and operational improvement engagements in Southeast Asia and Australia when he was with A.T. Kearney and PA Consulting Group.
