Francisco Soler Named Managing Director of Urban Science Spain

MADRID, Spain, Sept. 19, 2005 - Urban Science has appointed Francisco Soler as the new managing director (MD) for Spain. With a career spanning more than 13 years in the fields of international management, consulting, quality and IT, Soler replaces Miguel Picazo as the head of Urban Science's operations in Spain.

Soler joined Urban Science in 1992, holding several positions until the year 2000: MD of the Frankfurt office, MD in London in charge of the two main accounts in Europe -General Motors and Chrysler - as well as a consultant in the Detroit headquarters and in Madrid.

Soler also worked for General Electric Corporation in Spain as the director for corporate initiatives. Later on, he was responsible for financing services quality at CAMGE, a joint venture formed by General Electric and a Spanish savings bank.

Francisco Soler holds an MBA with honours from the IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, one of the world's leading business schools. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Valencia University, as well as in Political Science from the Spanish Long-Distance University UNED.
