Katherine Kress, Vice President, Practice Development & Management
Katherine Kress is
responsible for enhancing the vision of Urban Science’s practice areas,
identifying new market segments and opportunities, and leading the
development of technical solutions.
Before joining Urban Science, Kress was senior vice president and account director for customer relationship marketing at Mullen Advertising in Detroit. While there, she managed one of the firm’s largest accounts, GM Cardmember Services, and led the development of GMCS’ lifecycle marketing communications strategy to increase consideration and sales for General Motors vehicles throughout the cardmember relationship.
Prior to Mullen, she was a senior consultant with Peppers and Rogers Group, where she helped companies develop and implement customer relationship strategies with a focus on optimal customer communications cadences, channel integration, organizational change and call center strategy.
Kress holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan in
both political science and Chinese studies and a master of arts degree from
the University of California, Berkeley, in Asian studies. She is the author
of numerous articles and books on advertising, customer relationship
management, retail management and the workforce.
